Get started in three steps

Ready to enrol in Amazon Brand Registry? You’ll need to complete the following steps:

Review eligibility requirements

Brands must have a pending or registered and active text-based or image-based trademark.

To be eligible for Amazon Brand Registry, your brand must have an active registered trademark in each country where you wish to enrol, or have a pending trademark application filed through Amazon IP Accelerator. Brand Registry is also accepting brands that have a trademark pending registration in a subset of trademark offices (see country-specific requirements section). The trademark for your brand must be in the form of a text-based mark (word mark) or an image-based mark with words, letters or numbers (design mark). Depending on where your trademark is registered, eligible trademarks can have different classifications based on their issuing trademark office. Examples of trademarks that we currently accept for enrolment are included below:
Text-based marks

AMAZON

Image-based mark with words, letters or numbers
We currently only accept trademarks that have been issued by government trademark offices in the United States, Brazil, Canada, Mexico, Australia, India, Japan, France, Germany, Italy, Turkey, Singapore, Spain, Benelux, Saudi Arabia, the United Kingdom, Egypt, Sweden, Poland, the European Union and the United Arab Emirates. If your trademark is registered with the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), please submit the corresponding trademark number assigned by the national trademark office as it may differ from the trademark number assigned by WIPO. If your trademark is registered by the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO), please select EUIPO as your trademark registrar in your application. Brand Registry is not affiliated with any of these offices; please do not contact them for information about Brand Registry. Updates to Brand Registry eligibility criteria will be posted to this page.
The trademark text must match the brand name on the application. If your trademark is an image-based mark with words, letters or numbers, you will need to upload a copy of the image exactly as it appears on your trademark record. Ensure that this information matches before submitting your application.
This trademark must also appear on your products or packaging.

Sign into Amazon Brand Registry

Brand Registry applications must be submitted by the trademark owner.

If you are an authorised agent, please have the trademark owner enrol the brand first, and add your account as an additional user. If you meet the eligibility requirements, sign in using your existing Seller or Vendor Central credentials. Using the same username and password will enable access to Brand Registry features and benefits that are linked to Vendor and Seller services. Or, if you don’t yet have an Amazon account, create one for free.

Enrol your brand

Once you sign in, you will need to enrol your brand(s).

To enrol a brand, you will need to provide the following information:
  • Your brand name that has an active registered or pending trademark; the trademark for your brand must appear on your products or packaging and you must provide images that depict this.
  • The trademark registration number provided by the Intellectual property office. Application number provided by the Intellectual Property office can only be provided if you are enrolling with a trademark pending registration.
  • A list of product categories (e.g. apparel, sporting goods, electronics) in which your brand should be listed.
To learn more about the Brand Registry application process, please review this guide.
After you submit this information, we will verify that you are the rights owner of the trademark and reach out to a contact that meets our requirements. This person will receive a verification code. You will need to send this code back to Amazon to complete the enrolment process.
Once we have verified the provided information, you will get access to the full suite of Amazon Brand Registry’s benefits and features that help you protect your brand.
